The Ball Drop Tower is a stack of curved chutes on a central column with a tiger's head and a basket at the top, for a child of eighteen months and up. Drop one of the nine balls into the basket and it clatters down from shelf to shelf until it reaches the base.
Why this ball tower works for a toddler
- Nine balls come with it, so a child can keep loading the basket instead of hunting for the one that rolled under the sofa.
- The chutes push onto the central column and pull off again; the box calls it detachable off to play.
- Each chute is a different colour, so a child can be asked for the yellow one before they have the word for it.
- The tiger's head sits over a basket at the top, which turns a drop into something closer to aiming.
- Nothing is switched on and nothing runs on power: the balls move because the child let go of them.
- It stands on a wide moulded base, so it does not need holding while a child feeds it.
