The Blaze Storm Barricade RV-10 is a battery operated soft bullet gun for ages 8 and up, with twenty foam bullets in the box. A motor does the firing, so the trigger is the only thing to pull, and the shoulder stock unclips when a shorter gun suits better.
Why this soft bullet gun works for longer games
- Twenty foam bullets come in the box, counted as two sets of ten on the back panel.
- A motor does the work — switch it on, load, and the trigger fires without any pumping.
- The shoulder stock releases on a catch, so the same gun goes from long rifle to short carbine.
- A cover opens near the barrel if a bent bullet jams, instead of the gun having to come apart.
- Moulded plastic throughout, grey with an orange muzzle, and a sight on the top rail.
Good to know before you buy
- Age 8 years and up
- Material moulded plastic, foam bullets
- Bullets 20 soft bullets
- Power 3 x AA batteries, plus 2 x 1.5V button cells for the sight
- Not included the batteries, which the box states are not supplied
- Assembly none — the stock clips on and releases on a catch
- Cleaning wipe with a damp cloth
- Small parts yes — the box carries a choking-hazard warning and says it is not suitable for children under 3
- Not printed on the box a firing range or the gun's length
How to play with it
- Fit three AA cells in the compartment, following the markings inside.
- Drop the soft bullets in without forcing them into the barrel.
- Turn on the power switch, take aim away from faces, and fire.
- If a bullet bends and sticks, open the cover, take it out and close the cover again.
