The Circus Train Track Set is a battery-driven clown train that runs itself round a track you clip together on the floor, for children of three and up. Behind the locomotive it tows a swinging pirate ship and a carousel, and the engine plays music and lights up as it goes.
Why this train set works for a three-year-old
- Twelve track pieces come in the box - eight curved and four straight, both counts printed on the side panel - so the loop can be laid out more than one way.
- The end panel draws three different shapes you can connect those same pieces into.
- The locomotive drives itself round the loop, so a child watches and rearranges rather than pushes.
- A clown figure rides on the locomotive, and the box says the clowns can be installed on it, so it lifts off.
- Two wagons follow the engine: one is a swinging pirate ship, one is a carousel, both marked on the front as parts that move.
- All moulded plastic, and the track clips together by hand with no tools.
