The Die-Cast Pull-Back Car Set is six metal-bodied cars and four road signs for children of three and up. Pull a car backwards along the floor, let go, and it runs off on its own. Each sign stands on a round red base that is wider than the sign itself.
Why this car set works for floor play
- Six cars with die-cast metal bodies — they have real weight in the hand, which a hollow plastic car does not.
- Every one is a pull-back: drag it backwards a few inches, let go, and it runs across a hard floor by itself.
- The six carry different liveries — fire, ambulance, police, city, recycling and army camouflage — so they can be sorted and given jobs.
- Four road signs come with them: Construction Zone, Caution, Stop and Men Working, each on a wide round base so it stands up on a tiled floor.
- Nothing to switch on, nothing to charge, and no lights or sound.
- Each car and each sign sits in its own moulded slot, so the tray doubles as somewhere to put them back.
