The Fruit & Vegetable Cutting Play Set gives a child play-food pieces that come apart for pretend slicing, including an apple, an orange, a strawberry and an onion. The box front is printed "CUTTING GAME" over a photo of all the pieces together.
Why this cutting set works for pretend kitchen play
- Each fruit or vegetable piece is moulded in two halves that hold together, then pull apart for play-slicing.
- An apple, an orange, a strawberry and an onion are among the pieces visible in the box.
- The pieces are sized to sit in a child's hand, similar in scale to the real fruit and vegetables they copy.
- The box front shows a child playing with the pieces on a cutting board.
- It does not include a cutting board, a play knife or a storage tray.
