The Montessori Handle is a handheld busy board that copies the switches, plugs and dials found around the house, lighting up small LEDs when a child flips, turns or presses each one. It runs on batteries and needs no wiring to a real socket.
Why this montessori handle works for hands-on learning
- Two rocker switches flip up and down like real wall switches, each lighting its own LED.
- A plug-and-jack piece lights up once the plug is pushed fully into its socket.
- Turning the key to the right opens a panel and lights an LED.
- A rotary dial lights up when turned to the right, and a row of buttons each light a matching LED when pressed.
- The body is a single moulded plastic handle shaped to be held in two hands.
