The Ninja Weapon Set is a dress-up armoury on a single blister card, moulded in black and silver plastic. Two curved swords slide into their own scabbards, and alongside them sit four throwing stars, two ring-handled blades and a twin-grip bar. Every edge on it is blunt moulded plastic.
Why this ninja set works for dress-up play
- Both swords have their own scabbard, so they can be carried at the waist rather than held the whole time.
- The four throwing stars are flat mouldings with a hole through the middle and rounded points.
- The two larger blades sit on a red shaft with a ring at the end, so they can be spun on a finger.
- Everything is a single piece of moulded plastic — nothing folds out, extends or comes apart in the hand.
- It makes no sound and needs nothing switched on, so it can be played with indoors.
