The Projector Painting Table is a stand-up easel with a torch-shaped pen that projects one of four lantern-slide pictures onto the sketchpad, so a child traces the outline in colour instead of drawing freehand. The frame is moulded plastic, with a pen holder across the top and four short legs.
Why this projector painter works for tracing
- The pen has a bulb and lens built into its tip: press the on/off switch on its side and it lights up and projects the picture onto the board below.
- Four lantern slides are included, each printed with a different picture to trace.
- Twelve colour pens clip into a holder along the top rail of the frame, so they do not roll away between uses.
- The sketchpad is a flat moulded panel on an easel frame with four short legs, angled for a child to draw at.
- It needs three button batteries for the projector light, which come included in the box.
- Nothing about it makes a sound or moves on its own - it is a light, a lens and a flat drawing surface.
