The RC Fighter Jet Drone is a four-rotor drone built into a fighter-jet airframe, flown with a two-stick gamepad controller rather than a stick box. The rotors sit in four cut-outs through the wings, so the whole thing takes off flat instead of running down a strip.
Why this drone works for older children
- Four rotors sit inside the wings, not on the nose, so it lifts straight up off a flat floor.
- The controller is a gamepad with two sticks and a row of buttons, held in both hands.
- A speed key switches modes: one beep for low speed, two beeps for high.
- Headless mode is on a button - the body lights flash, and after that it answers the sticks rather than its own nose direction.
- One-key return and a 360-degree roll are both marked on the front of the box.
- It charges from the USB lead in the box, and the battery is a small pack that plugs into the fuselage.
