The Toy Kettle and Toaster Set is a battery-powered kitchen toy for children aged 3 and up, pairing a toy kettle with a two-slot toy toaster. Two play toast slices pop up when the toaster's lever is pressed down, and the kettle's handle has a tab to pull before first use.
Why this kettle and toaster works for pretend breakfasts
- The toaster takes two play toast slices; pressing the side lever down and then the button pops them back up.
- The kettle has a see-through body with a fill line printed up the side and a hinged lid.
- Both appliances run on 2 x AA batteries, not included, started by pulling a demo tab on the kettle.
- The toaster's dial and three buttons turn and click like a real toaster's controls.
- It does not actually heat or toast anything - the slices are moulded plastic.
