The Train Set with Track is a classic steam engine pulling three wagons round an oval of clip-together track. The engine is dark red and black, and the wagons are an oilcan tanker, an open freight car and a flat car loaded with logs. The oval measures 104 by 68 centimetres.
Why this train set works for floor play
- The track clips together into an oval 104 cm long and 68 cm wide, which is the figure printed on the back of the box.
- The box says the same track can be laid out in other shapes, so it does not have to stay an oval.
- Four pieces of rolling stock: the engine and three different wagons, each shown separately on the front.
- The log wagon carries a load of separate brown logs, and the tanker is printed OILCAN TRAIN along its side.
- Moulded plastic throughout, with the printed detail picked out on each wagon.
- There is no controller - the set is an engine, three wagons and the track, nothing else.
