The Water Bead & Soft Bullet Gun is a motorised six-barrel blaster for children of eight and over, and it takes two kinds of ammunition — suction cup foam darts, or soft water beads fed from a bottle that mounts on top. The barrel cluster spins as it fires and the body lights up from the inside.
Why this blaster works for garden battles
- Six barrels sit in a rotating cluster driven by a motor, so a child holds the trigger down instead of pumping between shots.
- Two kinds of ammunition from one gun: suction cup foam darts, or soft water beads that burst on impact.
- The beads feed from a bottle that mounts on top through a screw-on connector, and the back of the box prints the loading method for each.
- A pair of goggles comes in the box, which is the one piece of kit these guns usually make you buy on the side.
- It runs on a built-in battery, so there is no tray of loose cells to lose.
- The body is moulded in clear plastic with a carry handle across the top and a loop grip behind it — a two-handed toy.
