The MP5 Water Gel Blaster is an electric gel blaster for teenagers - the box marks it 14+ and calls it high speed firing. It shoots soft water gel beads rather than anything hard, and a separate muffler tube fits onto the end of the barrel when the longer shape is wanted.
Why this gel blaster works for outdoor target play
- It fires soft water gel beads - no foam darts and no pellets are shown going into it anywhere on the box.
- The muffler is a separate tube that pushes onto the end of the barrel, so the gun can be used short or long.
- Firing is electric and continuous, which is what the box means by high speed firing - there is no pumping between shots.
- The box front carries a rechargeable-battery icon rather than a tray of loose cells.
- The body is moulded plastic with a printed graffiti wrap and an orange muzzle tip.
- The box prints its own rules: do not shoot at people or animals at close range, and do not use it in the dark.
Good to know before you buy
- Age 14+ as printed on the box
- Material moulded plastic
- Ammunition water gel beads
- Power a rechargeable battery - the box prints a battery icon but the voltage on it is too small to read
- Small parts yes - the box carries a choking-hazard warning and is not for children under 3
- Length the packaging prints both 38 cm and 62 cm on different faces, so we are not quoting a single figure
- Box icons a muffler, water gel beads and goggles - but the box prints no itemised contents list
- Colour the box shows four printed colourways, so the wrap sent may differ
- Cleaning wipe with a damp cloth
