The Xylophone Piano Toy is a hand knock piano shaped like a little red grand piano, for a child who wants to make a noise rather than learn a tune. Eight metal bars sit on top, numbered one to eight, and eight coloured keys run along the front edge.
Why this xylophone piano works for noisy play
- Two ways to the same eight notes: strike the metal bars with a beater, or press the coloured keys at the front.
- Each bar carries a printed number, one to eight, so a child can be told which one to hit.
- The bars are metal and the body is moulded plastic, standing on four short white feet.
- Nothing is switched on and nothing is plugged in - every sound comes from the bar you strike.
- It plays no recorded tunes and has no lights.
